Lemco 20 Clubs

When we introduced “20 Clubs” to the motorcycle business back in 1981, times were tough. There were many things affecting business that were beyond the control of the dealer. To survive, dealers had to make some hard decisions and take strategic action to make the most of what business there was to be had. Survival required real information — hard nouns and numbers — to identify specific areas where action would make the most difference.

We find ourselves in the same position as we were 28 years ago. In many ways the market dilemmas are worse. The good news is that we have the reporting resources to do specific and intense measurements and have developed new, proven protocols unavailable back in 1981. In resurrecting the Lemco “20 Clubs,” Laura is bringing back the same focus and intensity that got us through tough times and put us in a position to prosper when things turned around.

The social aspect of the “20 Club” is positive and many dealers have established life-long relationships built around the sharing of challenges and successes. While that is a very good by product, it is not the main focus. I am pleased that so many old friends have decided to sign on with Laura. I am pleased that there is such a high level of confidence based on what we accomplished in the past. I will be involved as much as I can and look forward to helping Laura bring about the same level of impact and the success for member dealers as we did in the past.

Monthly dues are $500 per month and include:

• a monthly composite
• a monthly conference call with Ed
• two meetings per year moderated by Ed
• a dealership visitation meeting moderated by Laura
